Weather Resistive Barrier for CI
Atlas
EnergyShield Continuous Wall Insulation can be used as a three-in-one product, providing exceptional thermal performance, an air barrier, and a WRB, while streamlining the overall wall design. Use of it is supported with educational resources and personal customer service advice. The product is approved as a standalone WRB and air barrier by properly sealing the joints and penetrations with an approved self-adhered tape. Through rigorous third-party testing under AC71 (Foam Plastic Sheathing Panels Used as a WRB), the company has confirmed the compatibility of approved tape flashing options, which provides the architect and installer more freedom in the adhesive selection, market availability and budget control. It can be used as a WRB in both residential and commercial applications. For more information, visit wall.atlasrwi.com.

Self-adhered Wrap
Grip-Rite/PrimeSource
The company announces the launch of its ProWrap line of products, offering builders a comprehensive solution for creating tight, efficient, and breathable building envelope wall protection. The Grip-Rite ProWrap SA is self-adhering housewrap, rated for both residential and commercial applications. It stands out in the market for its high breathability, labor-saving application, and economical cost for a premium product. Self-adhered WRB/Air Barrier
VaproShield
PanelShield SA is a vapor permeable, self-adhered water-resistive barrier and air barrier that protects the building envelope by allowing vapor to pass through (breathable) but not air or liquid water. With a 26-perm rating, it supports drying and moisture management within wall assemblies. The aggressive adhesive bonds to plywood, OSB, gypsum, and other substrates—no primer required—streamlining installation. PanelShield SA withstands up to 365 days of UV and weather exposure, making it ideal for long-duration projects. Its durability and ease of application reduce labor costs while delivering reliable protection against air and water infiltration. For more information, visit vaproshield.com.

Rainscreen Tray Façade System
Desana Partners/DURUS
The DURUS Standard system looks like a traditional brick veneer but offers several advantages, including dedicated water management and lower weight per square foot in comparison to traditional brick façade construction. The patented tooth design captures and secures bricks from multiple manufacturers, without costly customization of the
bricks. Stiffener ribs and uniform tray base design reinforce the structural strength of the tray and serve as guides to assure vertical and horizontal alignment. The spacing between each tray can be adjusted if necessary to help align with rough openings in the wall.
Its 20-gauge stainless steel assembly ensures the system lasts the full life of the building. DURUS trays are also available in Galvalume and G90 galvanized and provide options and choices for each project. Continuous airflow keeps the cavity and the system components dry and free from moisture, protecting the continuous insulation and air/moisture barrier. For more information, visit desanapartners.com.
